On 13 June Tony Rich, a member of Midlands CRO, was issued with his Queens Diamond Jubilee by Sir Stephen Brown GBE, at the Diamond Jubilee Garden Party of Forward Branch, Royal British Legion.
Sir Stephen is a retired President of the Family Division of the High Court and a former Lord Justice of Appeal. Sir Stephen served in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve during World War 2 and is the President of Forward Branch, of which Tony is a member.
Tony is a solicitor and has been the national legal adviser to cave (and mountain rescue) for over 20 years, as well as being a member of Midlands CRO. He had also previously served as a TA officer for over 20 years during the Cold War.
